Welcoming the Year of the Horse

🐎 Chinese New Year Flow Class — Year of the Horse

6.15pm-7.15pm

We’re welcoming the Year of the Horse the best way we know how: by moving  with a special free class on Friday 20th February 2025 6.15pm

This strong, vinyasa-based flow is all about rhythm, energy, and a sense of forward motion. The Horse is known for enthusiasm and freedom, and this class plays with that idea — flowing sequences, strong legs, open shoulders, and just enough challenge to keep things interesting.

Expect a class that builds heat, keeps you engaged, and leaves you feeling energised rather than exhausted. There’s space to explore, moments to catch your breath, and maybe a smile when the flow gets a little bold.

This is a class for regular practitioners and anyone who enjoys a dynamic flow with character. Not about perfection, definitely not about rushing — just moving with intention and a bit of joy.

Come roll out your mat, follow the rhythm, and start the Year of the Horse on the right foot 🐎

Live Performance - Bai Kamara Jr

We’re very happy to welcome Bai Kamara Jr for a live performance during the evening.

With his warm voice and smooth mix of blues, soul, funk, and Afro-roots, Bai Kamara Jr creates music that feels relaxed, uplifting, and perfect for a night of good company. Based in Brussels and touring internationally, he brings rhythm and groove to the space.

He’s shared the stage with big names, toured internationally, and has a sound that gets feet tapping and hearts smiling.

Yoga, live music good vibes, and a glass in hand — a pretty good way to start the Year of the Horse πŸ₯‚πŸŽΆ

A Moment With - Portia Chigariro

Cacao Ceremony

As part of the evening, Portia will share a short talk about the cacao ceremony — what it is, where it comes from, and why people have been gathering around cacao for centuries.

Spoiler: it’s not about trends or superfoods, and it’s definitely not hot chocolate in disguise.

Cacao has long been used as a ritual drink — a way to slow down, connect, and mark a moment together. Think grounding rather than floating, warm rather than intense.

A pause that invites presence, conversation, and a little curiosity.

A Moment with - Héloïse Prax

Astrology

As part of the evening, astrologer Héloïse will share a short talk to welcome the Chinese New Year and the Lunar year ahead.

Through stories and symbols, she’ll offer a glimpse into the celestial influences shaping 2026 — and what kind of energy we’re collectively stepping into.

The year ahead carries the feeling of fresh starts and forward movement. After a period of slower, heavier energy, there’s a noticeable shift toward action, ideas, and expression. Fire and Air take the lead, bringing momentum, curiosity, creativity, and a renewed desire to connect and communicate. (In other words: Let's put our growth in action, more spark.)

Rather than predictions or personal readings, this talk is about setting the tone for the year — a moment to reflect, get inspired, and step into the new Lunar cycle with a bit more awareness (and maybe a spark of excitement).

A Moment With - Wen Wei

Its all about the Tea

Born and raised in China and now living in Brussels, Wenwei is a tea practitioner who hosts tea gatherings where she explores Chinese aesthetics and ways of relating to life, with tea as a gentle conduit.

ο»Ώ

She works with good tea — tea that follows natural rhythms, respects Chinese literati aesthetics, and remains open to contemporary ways of drinking and sharing. In her practice, tea can be both a herbal remedy from the mountains and a quiet moment of delight at one’s desk.

For the Chinese New Year celebration, Wenwei will offer a glimpse into how she drinks tea as a Cantonese, and how tea can be a simple yet meaningful way of coming together.
